Our work

Every production has a mission, a purpose, a story.

Here are just a few highlights of our work, but there’s so much more we can tell you.

01

World Games, Birmingham, AL | Athlete Chain of Custody, 2022

Similar to the Olympics, the World Games follows strict protocols and security measures for their Opening and Closing Ceremonies. We were brought on to manage the Athlete Chain of Custody, moving over 2700 participants from their village to the stadium, in accordance to the protocols and based on the needs of the broadcast production. By organizing over 200 volunteers, we created and executed a plan that made the Athlete March, by country, a success.

WarnerMedia Studios | Director of Production Operations, 2017-2021

As the Director of Production Operations at the now Techwood Studios, I was responsible for the day-to-day management and near-term planning of the facility, including 7 studios – ranging 1500 to 10,000 square feet, with daily productions, 7 days a week. I oversaw the Crewing Department, which scheduled, trained, and developed technical staff (35) and freelancers (150+).  When COVID-19 hit, I lead the team in writing and implementing our compliance protocols that allowed us to get back to work safely.

CNN Documentary Unit | Senior Production Manager, 2012-2017

As Senior Production Manager, it was my responsibility to ensure that every Doc Unit producer had what they needed to tell the story that needed to be told. Traveling crews worlwide, booking interview locations, and even sending weather reports so that they knew what time the sun would rise; every detail mattered. I managed our multi-million dollar show budget, tracking expenses concurrently so that budget decisions could be made in real time. In a typical year, we’d produce 6-10 long form shows, but in 2016, we crashed 50 shows, putting long form storytelling in the center of the news cycle.

TLC Say YES to the Prom | Production Manager, 2023

What started years ago as an idea to give some donated evening gowns to a few deserving high school students has grown into a multi city charity event, making prom possible for over 500 underserved seniors in Atlanta and Los Angeles. We were brought on to reimagine Studio D at Techwood as a deluxe department store. From Macy’s dresses and Men’s Warehouse tuxs, to hair cuts and makeup, everything was provided, including a spin at Monte’s Mirror to Say Yes to Prom.

Morehouse College Commencement | Show Producer, 2012-Present

No one does pomp and circumstance like Morehouse College! And after producing the commencement for over 10 years, it’s become one of our annual favorites. Working with Mathes Event Productions, we manage the show content, ensuring that every man is seen on the big screen marching across the stage to receive their diploma. The Morehouse Commencement often breaks news, from hosting President Obama to Robert Smith paying their college debt, it’s our job to make sure the DNRs sent to the media capture the highlights for great coverage.
